PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING: The City of Lonoke Planning Commission will have a meeting on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 6pm in the Administration Building. This meeting is being held to discuss and decide the outcome of the request by Gaylen McGee for a Conditional Use Permit to construct a Wholesaling & Warehousing facility at 35 Saylor Road. The public hearing was held on July 15th, but a quorum was not present to conduct the remainder of the meeting.


REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: The City of Lonoke, AR is seeking a qualified contractor to provide Bulk Yard Waste Pickup and Disposal Services for the City of Lonoke. To receive an RFP packet, please email a statement of interest to Regina Ibbotson at depcityclerk@cityoflonokear.gov. Sealed bids will be received on approved forms until 2 pm on August 4, 2025. REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS: The City of Lonoke, AR is seeking the services of qualified Bond Counsel for legal services in association with the award of one or more loans through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) program. To receive RFQ information, please email a statement of interest to Regina Ibbotson at depcityclerk@cityoflonokear.gov. The deadline for packet submission is July 28 at 4 pm. JAILER POSITION: The City of Lonoke is accepting applications for full-time jailers for the Lonoke Police Department. This position will report to the Jail Administrator, Sergeant on duty, or any officer designated by the Chief of Police. This position includes competitive pay and an excellent benefits package. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have completed high school or a GED program, and possess a valid driver’s license. A detailed job description is attached.
